I think we all strive to be present in our everyday lives. The busier we’ve become, the loftier that goal may seem, but I’ve learned that with a shift in our focus we CAN Be All There for our families, our friends and ourselves.
There are many pathways we could take to being more present, but for me it’s been a gradual process of integrating several different things into my life.
What I’ve learned from personal experience is that it can be done and it feels great! I do the best I can not to dwell in the past or worry about the future, and, when I do (and I do), I am compassionate with myself, and try to get back on track as soon as possible. I’ll share what works for me (and what doesn’t) as I continue my journey. I hope you’ll join me!
Jeannie,
You have inspired me, I think I may try to do this. How do you get started?

I use the free wordpress blog. There are upgraded versions that might look a bit nicer but are not free. I may look into that at some point. Just go to wordpress.com and click around. There are some videos on the website that helped me too. I’m learning as I go.

Hey Jeannie! (thats my daughter’s name!) Sounds like life has been good. I am into my fifties as well (yes, it is scary sometimes) and yes, see it as u do, with curiosity and anticipation as I am beginning a whole new venture. Lets share notes from time to time and I look forward to a guest post from u on my blog inspirationenergy.wordpress.com!
